After our full conference in Liverpool, and visit to Brixton Pound, our next event was a practical focussed day hosted by Birmingham Pound, aimed at practitioners to equip with them with skills and knowledge needed to start and develop local currency schemes in their own communities.
It was held in Birmingham in October 2016, with around 40 attended including Bristol, Birmingham, Brixton, Lewes, Edinburgh, Sheffield, Liverpool and Exeter
Topics included regulation, technical issues, financial/business models and the future of the Guild of Independant Currencies, full agenda can be found here.
